Thank you!
Dear Friends of WCT,
On behalf of the many thousands of youth performers who have participated in Whidbey Children's Theater over the past 34 years and the many thousands yet to come, the WCT staff and Board of Directors would like to thank you very much for your support and participation in our recent spring fundraiser, Artapalooza!
A lovely, sunny day eventually unfolded over the delightful gardens at Fireseed Catering in Langley, and what had started out as a wet and cold day, became warm and festive as the WCT Youth Ensemble entertained guests with garden party games and a sweet variety show, featuring a few pieces from this season's shows, and some independently created skits and solos.
As usual, one of the highlights was our season reveal for next year - and both the audience and actors were surprised by the variety and number of productions being offered next season! So many opportunities to experience the wonderful magic of WCT!
The dinner and auction event launched right on schedule and the vast Fireseed Hall felt impressive and homey all at the same time. Guests enjoyed bidding on a wide variety of items and experiences donated by local businesses knowing that proceeds from the auction would benefit this dynamic performing arts program. The food and drink were delicious and graciously served, and the guests were engaged and enthusiastic! Thank you, All, for attending this event, and helping us usher in another great year of performing arts programming for the youth in this community.
For almost 35 years, WCT has been a destination for young people to find their creative voice and learn valuable life skills. It's more than entertainment, it is life changing, and has been an important feature of many thousands of families lives over the years.
Thank you for everything you did to make the evening magical. We look forward to seeing you soon!
With the deepest appreciation and gratitude,
Cait M. Cassée
