“This is only my first play, but I’ve found out I really love theatre! I can be loud, I can be proud, I can be brave!”

-Fiona, WCT actor

Pay no attention to the mess behind the curtain!

We are using the pandemic-related closure of Whidbey Children’s Theatre to update (and maybe bedazzle a little) —— beginning with our website!

Please continue to explore our website as it evolves over the coming months. Our goal is to offer you a more simplified, easily navigated website that offers you helpful and fun content.

When we advertise new classes and other fun stuff, we will do our best to post links to specific website pages on our usual social media haunts (Facebook and Instagram)!

Stay tuned! And don’t hesitate to reach out to us with questions or suggestions at contact@wctmagic.org. Thank you!

Whidbey Children’s Theatre directly engages local children and youth in acts of creativity, compassion, problem solving, empathy and belonging. Our learning space is a place of joy and inclusion. As such, recent events, beginning with the senseless death of George Floyd, weigh heavy on the hearts of our WCT family.

We do not have the answers, but what we do have is commitment. We are committed to standing against racism and acts of hate. We are committed to modeling empathy and kindness both on and off the stage, and we are committed to holding the doors of our theatre open as a space of love, acceptance, and inclusivity.
