Little Players Spring Session
Instructor: Kenesha Lewin
Class description: This class is an opportunity for participants to grow their performing arts skills in a fun, dynamic environment. A variety of activities including theatre games, craft making, music, dance and more will offer your young actor room to explore the basics of theatre and ignite their creative magic with a talented instructor in a multi-age setting. All experience levels welcome!
Ages: 4-10 (pre-school -through 5th grade)
Location: WCT Blackbox
Two class times to choose from:
CLASS A - 3:00-5:00 pm on all dates - $175 per student - REGISTER ONLINE
CLASS B - 4:00-5:00 pm on all dates - $125 per student - REGISTER ONLINE

Start Date Wednesday, February 28. Classes Wednesdays and Fridays, with a performance for friends and families on Wednesday, April 18 on our WCT mainstage!
*If you were in the Winter Holiday class, please note that due to Kenesha's busy schedule, ALL classes are now from 3:00-5:00 or 4:00-5:00, even on the two half day Wednesdays.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR, KENESHA LEWIN
My Educational adventure began in January 2002 with the Mobile County Public School System as a student teacher for a Kindergarten class. I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Education in December 2005. Prior to graduation I was offered a position as a Science, Social Studies and Reading Teacher for a Grade Six class based on my performance as a student teacher.
It is my belief that there is no one way to teach a subject and that not all students learn in the same manner. Some students are visual learners while others are more hands on and I have learned the importance of adapting my teaching techniques accordingly. My aptitude to remain flexible, ensures that every child’s learning styles and abilities are addressed. Superior interpersonal and communication skills to foster meaningful relationships with students, staff and parents.
I am confident in my abilities to stimulate and motivate children towards personal growth and achievement. I am extremely excited to work with the theater and all the wonderful students on the island this production well be awesome.
